Reorganizing and regrouping has been going on around here. We are trying to get more room around the house. We also have plans to switch the kids' rooms and I am going to redecorate some. Jack is also getting a double (aka to him as a "big boy") bed! I also wanted a space to sew. I usually sew at the dining room table and then I have to upack and repack everything back up after each task. That was getting tiring and also the constant humming sound coming from the machine can be annoying when Craig is trying to watch TV. Anyway, I upgraded myself to the garage! I am excited. It isn't fancy, but it works. I got a new 6 foot table which I like because it has a lot of space to cut fabric on.
I also organized my patterns and have all my notions in order.
Like I said earlier, Kate and Jack's rooms are going to change some and here is a sneak peek at the fabrics I picked out for Kate's room! A little older look for her to keep for a while.
72 degrees. That is what the weather was today. Humidity at 43% and a light wind. It was awesome and I had to take the kids outside. I am glad we are having some warm weather! I am excited that it might stick around for a bit! I love when my kids play together - even with dinosaurs and in dirt.
These last 10 days have flown by. I know you are all on the edge of your seats wondering what we have been up to around here. Nothing too crazy, just life. The kids are great. We did a little living room dancing last week Pardon the shaking (and singing) as I may have been dancing too.
Yesterday was our annual low-key Valentine's Day. Craig and I made dinner AFTER the kids were in bed - steak, onion mix sweet potatoes and green beans. I watched the triplets for a bit yesterday, so we made some Valentine's for mommies and daddies.
Working very nicely and diligently on their Valentine's
Kate's fun ended when green crayon was found in her teeth
Tonight starts another Bible study for me. I have to be honest, my vigor for learning and leading right now are lacking, but I am hoping with time and prayer, my desire will grow. Despite my weakness, God always does something amazing and I know we will all learn something from the study.
In the coming weeks, we have Craig's birthday, Kimberly's baby shower for her BABY GIRL, spring days and some kids' bedroom redecorating, which I am excited about....Craig, not so much.
Gymnastics was this week again. What I like about it is that they do something different each time. They do their warm up and then the other activity. The first week they did different flips and handstands, the second week they did the trampoline and flips and this week they did bars and rings - Jack LOVED the rings. I also took my Flip and got a video. The video is a compilation of 6 videos with music added, but you get the idea of what goes on there.
Finally, I got this for $22 today at the store. $50 worth of stuff for $22. Not too bad.
